Mitchell Price holds the record with the most interceptions in a game. Price played for SMU in 1986 and then for the Tulane Green Wave from 1987 to 1988. He holds the record with five interceptions and set the record on September 3, 1988 in a game vs. Tennessee–Chattanooga. Tulane won the game by a score of 33-19. It should be noted that Price is the most recent to have set this record; others have done this as well.
Mitchell Price had a four year career in the NFL from 1990 to 1993. He played for the Cincinnati Bengals, Arizona Cardinals, and the Los Angeles Rams.
