College Football Playoff National Championship Game
Presented by AT&T
No.1 Alabama Crimson Tide vs. No. 2 Clemson Tigers
Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, Florida
Monday, January 9, 2017 @ 8 p.m. ET on ESPN

Alabama has one of the best punters in the nation in JK Scott, who ranks third in punting average in the country and Alabama has the fifth best punt return average in the country. Alabama also has the advantage in number of field goals with 21, which ranks them 13th in the nation, this could also be a sign of an inability to score TDs. Clemson’s advantage in kickoff returns is only a few yards, so basically Alabama has a very solid advantage on Special Teams. This could play out on a big way Monday, as special teams sometimes have big consequences in close games.
