NUMBER ONE – THE GAME
Ohio State escaped MSU at East Lansing 17-16 and Michigan pulled away form Indiana 20-10 setting up The Game for next weekend. The third ranked Michigan Wolverines visit the second ranked Ohio State Buckeyes Saturday, November 26, 2016 at noon in Ohio Stadium. This is the biggest game in college football this season and for the year.

Why?

Because it will either prove Michigan football is back or not. College football is all about the coaches; think back to Bear Bryant, Fielding Yost, Knute Rockne, Woody Hayes, and so on. If a coach establishes himself then they get the recruits; recruits win championships. The game will prove if Harbaugh is the real deal or not.

Interestingly, Harbaugh doesn’t actually need to win to prove Michigan is back, just play Ohio State down to the wire. We think Michigan is still one season away from beating the Buckeyes, but next year it will happen.

We give Ohio State the edge in this game based on: a veteran QB in J.T. Barrett, it’s at home in the Shoe – which is the loudest place to play in the country thanks to the architecture of the stadium and crazy Buckeye fans, and Michigan doesn’t quite have the personal yet to beat the Buckeyes.

The winner of this game will make the College Football Playoffs.

NUMBER TWO
It is Clemson’s playoff spot to lose. They have an easy game vs. 6-5 South Carolina and the Conference Championship Game will be against either North Carolina or Virginia Tech, either of which will have at least three loses heading into the ACC Championship Game.

NUMBER THREE
Colorado is back! Colorado beat the 22nd ranked Washington State Cougars Saturday by a score of 38-24. They are playing some very strong football. They are 9-2 with tough losses to Michigan and USC, but they are on a roll. We are predicting they win their division and Pac-12 Championship Game. Depending how the Big Ten plays out they may be going to the playoffs.

HONORABLE MENTION
Game Day was in Kalamazoo Michigan, Saturday, November 11, 2016, to watch the Western Michigan Broncos play the Buffalo Bisons. They destroyed them 38-0. The Broncos are steam rolling to a New Year’s Day Bowl Game, as well as they will make the College Football Playoff talk interesting, as in lets expand the field!
