There are quite a few good books on College Football out there. We really like “Season of Saturdays: A History of College Football in 14 Games” by Michael Weinreb, which was published in August of 2014.
Weinrreb uses fourteen famous games in college football to illustrate the good and the bad in college football from National Championship controversies to eligibility scandals and everything else in between. Especially interesting is his outlook on how the big schools and conferences have a decided edge on the competition that they fight hard to keep.
A must have for every knowledgeable college football fan. Buy below.
