As of , 9/26/ 2016, Dak has been lighting up the NFL. He has the best QB rating of the starting rookies with 93.3 rating, is averaging 255 passing yards per game, and has not thrown an interception. His backfield buddy, running back Ezekiel Elliott from Ohio State, is also starting to make waves in the NFL with a 140-yard rushing night last night. They are playing behind one of the best offensive lines in football and with the most talented receiver, Dez Bryant from Oklahoma State, in the NFL so they don’t have carry the load themselves. None-the-less a very impressive start. If Dak Prescott continues this pace the Romo era in Dallas is over.
It is way too early to tell how anyone of these quarterback’s careers turn out and of the other three starting rookies last weekend, Carson Wentz and Cody Kessler, both are doing well, but Jacoby Brissett is dealing with an injury. Carson is on a very good team and Kessler being on a very bad team, while Brissett is an emergency backup while Tom Brady sits out his suspension. So to crown Dak the gem of this class right now is premature. However, his career looks promising, but the NFL 2016 may turn out to be a very good year for quarterbacks. We at Faniacs suspect that to be the case.
