Quarterback Eli Manning from Ole Miss was the first pick of the 2004 NFL Draft. Eli was drafted by the San Diego Charges, but immediately traded to the New York Giants.

Eli started for Ole Miss for three seasons. His senior year he won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, the Maxwell Award, was named SEC Offensive Player of the Year, and placed third in Heisman voting. Over his career at Ole Miss he passed for 10,119 yards and threw for 81 TDs.

San Diego drafted Eli Manning, but immediately traded him to the New York Giants. This same trade sent Philip Rivers to the San Diego Chargers.

Eli is a two-time Super Bowl Champion and a two-time Super Bowl MVP. He has thrown for 294 TDs so far in his career. Can Eli win another Super Bowl? Who knows, but that will then be one more than his brother Peyton Manning.
