Quarterback Chad Kelly was the last player taken in the 2017 NFL Draft. He played for Ole Miss his last two years, but originally, he went to Clemson.
Chad Kelly originally went to Clemson, but transferred after the 2013 season. He Played for Ole Miss from 2015 to 2016. Over his college career he had 513 completions for 6,858 yards and 50 TDs, as well as he threw 21 interceptions. He also ran for 958 yards and 16 TDs. He had a good college career.
Mr. Irrelevant is known as the last player to be selected in the NFL Draft. This year it was Chad Kelly. The Denver Broncos chose him. Safety Lonnie Ballentine who played for Memphis, TE Gerald Chirstian who played for Louisville, and CB Kalan Reed who played from Southern Miss are all still playing in the NFL. (Gerald Christian has been released by the Buffalo Bills after the season.) The minimum rookie salary this year is $465,000, so being Mr. Irrelevant is not so bad.
