Offensive tackle Jake Long from the University of Michigan was the first pick of the 2008 NFL Draft. Jake was drafted by the Miami Dolphins.

Jake had a prolific career at Michigan. He was a two-time Consensus All-American and won the Jim Parker Trophy his senior year.

Jake has had an outstanding NFL career as he is a four-time selection to the Pro Bowl. He has played with the Dolphins, the Rams, and Atlanta. His last few years he has not play much due to injuries. Presently, he is an unsigned free agent.
