Is the Bowl Era Over?

The Oklahoma Sooners play the Georgia Bulldogs in the Rose Bowl as one of the College Football Playoff Games, while Alabama plays the Clemson Tigers in the Sugar Bowl as the other Playoff Game.

There are 38 other Bowl Games being played. Most of which no one is watching, players are sitting out for fear of injury, and fan bases have a hard time getting enthusiastic over meaningless games.
