Peyton Manning played for the Tennessee Volunteers from 1994 to 1997. Over his career at Tennessee he threw for 11,201 yards, 89 TDs, 33 interceptions, and finished with a 147.1 QB rating.
Peyton also rushed for 12 TDs. In 1997 he finished second in the Heisman race. He was a consensus All-American in 1997 and, as well, he won the 1997 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award and the 1997 Maxwell Award.
The Indianapolis Colts picked him as the 1st overall pick in the 1998 NFL Draft. The rest is history.
