Chad Henne played for the Wolverines from 2004 to 2007. He has the most passing yards in Michigan history with 9,715 yards.

NFL future Hall of Famer, Tom Brady, does not even make the top ten on this list. John Navarre is second with 9,254 passing yards. He played for Michigan from 2000 to 2003. Elvis Grbac is third with 6,460 passing yards and played for the Wolverines from 1989 to 1992. Henne and Navarre may have the stats, but Michigan itself was on a slow decline during the years they played there.

Henne was drafted by the Dolphin as the 57th pick. Henne has started in the past, but now is a backup in the NFL. Navarre was drafted by the Cardinals as the 202nd pick. He only played three seasons in the NFL as a backup, but did get to start one game. On the other hand, Tom Brady has won five Super Bowls and is on the road to enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame when he retires. To be fair no one really thought that much of Brady coming out of college or he wouldn’t have been drafted in the sixth round.
