Memphis Tiger’s Paxton Lynch – Quarterback – MVP of 2014 Miami Beach Bowl

The Miami Beach Bowl has been played two times. In 2014 Memphis beat BYU 55-48, WOW what a shoot out! In 2015 Western Kentucky beat Southern Florida 45-35, so both Memphis and Western Kentucky have the most Miami Beach Bowl victories; one team will join their ranks as neither team is in this year’s Miami Beach Bowl. This year’s Miami Beach Bowl is on December 19, 2016 at 1:30 PM EST and will be on ESPN; the Central Michigan Chippewas play the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.
In the 2014 Miami Beach Bowl Paxton Lynch threw for four TDs and scored three TDs for a total of seven TDs accounted for. He threw for 306 yards, four TDs, and three intercpetions and also ran for 38 yards and three TDs. This earned him MVP honors. Overall the game was high scoring fun, which Memphis won 55-48. However, the 2014 Miami Beach Bowl is more famous for the brawl that occurred after the game. See this link below:

Paxton Lynch is a quarterback for the Denver Broncos and a rising star. The Broncos believe he will be their franchise quarterback at some point, maybe even next year.
