“Bob Bowlsby Sees Bleak Landscape” (source: http://sports.gotnewswire.com/news/bob-bowlsby-sees-bleak-landscape-espn) for college football. Bowlsby is the Big 12 commissioner. He thinks that due to all the lawsuits and the prospect that college athletes will have to be compensated college football will be ruined.

We ask: “For Whom”? Is he scared that he and his colleagues will lose their big paychecks because of budget constraints? I would imagine they will; we think it is a good thing. Their salaries are ridiculous large and that is precisely because college athletes are “free” labor. This era is coming to an end; of course, Bowlsby is scared.

However, this is not going to ruin college football. In fact, we think it will correct college football and stop all these NCAA violations that aren’t breaking any law, just the NCAA rules. We predict in five years NCAA football scandals due to boosters’ money will be ancient history, and that is GOOD for college football.
