Deshaun Watson, Clemson, threw for 37 TDs and ran for six so he has a total of 43 TDs accounted for. He threw for 3,914 yards, 37 TDs, and 15 interceptions. He ran for 524 yards and 6 TDs.
Watson clearly is in the running for the Heisman, but Lamar Jackson (Louisville) had comparable passing numbers and incredible rushing numbers that no one can match.
Lamar Jackson ran for 1,538 yards and scored 21 TDs rushing, because of his incredible ground production for a QB he will win the Heisman. Deshaun will finish a strong second; oh well time to prepare for the NFL Combine!
UPDATE
Deshaun Watson was invited to the Heisman Ceremony. One of five finalitsts, the others were: Baker Mayfield, Jabrill Peppers, Lamar Jackson, and Dede Westbrook. The winner will be announced December 10, 2016, at 8 PM.
