Matt Blundin holds the record for the lowest percentage of passes intercepted in a season. Blundin played for the Virginia Cavaliers from 1988 to 1991. He holds the record with a 0% pass interception rate for the 1991 season on 224 pass attempts. The beauty of this record is that someone else may do it, but Blundin cannot be surpassed.
Blundin led the ACC in passing efficiency in 1991 and was named ACC player of the year. Blundin played in the NFL and NFL Europe from 1992 to 1997 but saw limited playing time in the NFL. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs (92-95), Scottish Claymores (95 NFL Europe), and the Detroit Lions (97).
