Urban Meyer announced on April 1, 2015 that he will start all three quarterbacks this season: Braxton Miller; J.T. Barrett; and Cardale Jones.

Asked how this would work, Meyer said:

“Simple: the first quarter they will rotate between possessions. The second quarter they will rotate on downs. In the third quarter Cardale will play for five minutes, then Miller, and then J.T. In the fourth quarter they will go back to per possession. If a winning drive is necessary Urban said he would use rock, paper, scissors to decide who will go in as QB. Urban will let Tim Beck, OSU’s quarterbacks coach/co-offensive coordinator, officiate the rock, paper, scissors.”

All three players sounded very enthused about this, especially the rock, paper, scissors. J.T. Barrett said:

“I like it when Urban Meyer keeps it real!”
