The Alabama Crimson Tide have won three BCS National Championships and can win again this year. If Florida State wins the Championship this year, they will tie this record.

Alabama has been to the National Championship and won all three games. They were rather late making it to the BCS Championship game, considering the storied history of the Crimson Tide. In the 2009 season they beat Texas 37-21 on January 7, 2010 in the Rose Bowl. In the 2011 season they beat LSU 21-0 on January 9, 2012 in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. In the 2012 season they beat Notre Dame 42-14 on January 7, 2013 in Sun Life Stadium.

Presently Alabama is ranked Number One and is considered to be the favorite to win its playoff game and then the championship game, but time will tell. We actually like Ohio State in the playoff game vs. Alabama; they seem to be on a roll, and Urban Meyer has his players playing the best football since he has been at Ohio State.
