The Texas Bowl has been played since 2006. Texas Tech (1–1), Texas A&M (1–0), Arkansas (1–0), Illinois (1–0), LSU (1–0), Navy (1–0), Rice (1–0), Rutgers (1–0), Syracuse (1–0), and TCU (1–0). all have one victory in the Texas Bowl, which is the record for the most victories in the Texas Bowl.
This year’s Texas Bowl is on December 28, 2016 at 8:00 PM EST and will be on ESPN; the Texas A&M Aggies take on the Kansas State Wildcats with a victory the Aggies will hold the record for the most victories in this Bowl. If the Wildcats win then they will join the field of teams with one victory each.
