Deshaun Watson, Clemson, has thrown for 22 TDs and ran for one so he has a total of 23 TDs accounted for. He has thrown for 2,328 yards, 22 TDs, and 10 interceptions. He has ran for 326 yards and 1 TD.
Watson clearly is in the running for the Heisman, but Lamar Jackson (Louisville) with 38 TDs accounted for and Jake Browning (Washington) with 32 TDs accounted for are also solidly in the Heisman race.
Deshaun’s production is off from last year when he finished with 47 TDs accounted for. However, the fact that he had a spectacular season last year and his team is undefeated he may very well win the Heisman.
