Donnel Pumphrey has run for thirteen TDs and only attempted one pass that was incomplete so he has a total of 13 touchdowns accounted for.
Touchdowns accounted for is primarily a quarterback stat, but we thought it was interesting to include other positions that are also vying for the Heisman in our comparisons. Donnel Pumphrey is having a great rushing year he has rushed for 1,469 yards in 8 games for a 6.6 yards per carry average. He may have an outside shot at winning the Heisman, but he will need the other contenders to not do so well, while he is dominating. He is hurt by not playing in one of the power conferences. There is a lot of football left; time will tell.
