BCS National Championship games - the first eight years: Let’s go to the videotape…

The BCS National Championship game was played 16 years in a row, pitting the #1 ranked BCS team vs. the #2 ranked BSC team. There was always some controversy around this, as polls decided who was #1 and #2; #3 and #4 never had a chance to prove it on the field.

There were some great Championship games and some not so great. Below are the highlights of the first eight BCS National Championship games. (The other eight we will have next week.)
