Colt McCoy holds the record for the highest percentage of passes completed in a season. He played for the Texas Longhorns from 2006 to 2009. He holds the record with a 76.7% of his passes completed for the 2008 season (minimum 150 pass attempts).



McCoy was a Consensus All-American in 2008 and 2009. He finished second in the Heisman voting in 2008 and third in 2009. He presently plays in the NFL and has been on the Cleveland Browns and the San Francisco 49ers. He is presently a backup for the Washington Redskins.
