LaDainian Tomlinson holds the record for the most rushing in yards in a single game. He played for the TCH Horned Frogs from 1997 to 2000. He holds the record with 406 yards in a game against UTEP. The game was played on November 20, 1999; he rushed 43 times.
He was a consensus All-American in 2000 and finished fourth in the Heisman voting that year. He was drafted by the San Diego Charges where he had a stellar career being named the NFL MVP in 2006.
