Who would you rather have attempting the game winning field goal for your college alma mater – Kevin Butler or Alex Henery?

Kevin Butler was a kicker for the Georgia Bulldogs from 1981 to 1984. He was born on July 24, 1962 in Savannah, Georgia. He attended Redan High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia, outside Atlanta, where he played football and soccer.

Kevin scored 353 points during his college career, making 122 out of 125 extra point attempts. His field goal percentage was 78.6 %. He was a consensus All American in 1984 and is in the College Football Hall of Fame. He is the only pure kicker in the College Football Hall of Fame.

Alex Henery was a kicker for the Nebraska Cornhuskers from 2007 to 2010. He was born on August 17, 1987 in Omaha, Nebraska. He attended Omaha Burke High School. In high school he played football and soccer.

Alex scored 397 points during his college career, making 193 out of 194 extra point attempts. His field goal percentage was 89.5%. He was also a punter and averaged 42.4 yards per punt. He is Nebraska’s all time leading scorer and holds the NCAA record for most accurate field goal kicker ever.
