Mike Prindle holds the record for the most points scored by a kicker in a game. Prindle played for the Western Michigan Broncos from 1981 to 1984. He holds the record with 24 points in a game against the Marshall Thundering Herd on September 29, 1984. The Broncos won the game 42 – 7.

Prindle tried to play in the NFL after college. He got his chance when the Detroit Lions signed him as a replacement player in 1987. That is the only year he played in the NFL.
