Lamar Jackson won the 2016 Heisman on Saturday night, December 10, 2016, with 2,144 points or 79.5% of the vote. This places him in eight all-time in percentage of votes.
Reggie Bush, Troy Smith, Marcus Mariota, Ricky Williams, Charlie Ward, Cam Newton, and O.J. Simpson are ahead of him in that order. Reggie Bush won the Heisman in 2005 with 2,541 or 91.77% of the vote, which is the all-time highest percentage of the vote. (Bush's Heisman is vacated by the NCAA, but Faniacs does not recognize the idea of vacated awards or wins.)
