B.J. Symons holds the record for most passing yards in a season. He played for the Texas Tech Red Raiders from 1999 to 2003. He holds the record with 5,833 yards passing and the set the record in 2003.



Symons won the Sammy Baugh Trophy in 2003. He played in the NFL, NFL Europe, and the Arena Football League from 2004 to 2008. He never saw a down in the NFL.
