In 2013 March Madness generated one billion dollars in TV revenue. Fifty-five games were played. That amounts to approximately 18 million dollars per game.

Conversely, the College Football Playoffs earn around 500 million dollars in revenue per year. Which is approximately 167 million dollars per game.

So our question is, what would the sponsors pay for 12 more games of college football playoffs? We are guessing they would easily shell out another 500 million dollars for this. Probably even more. So what is holding the NCAA back? The fans want this! Please comment via the button below.
