NUMBER ONE
Luke Falk in No Longer a Heisman Candidate!
Luke Falk had a brutal game vs. Cal, throwing five interceptions and his team had an embarrassing 37-3 loss.
This was Cal's first victory over a Top 10 team since 2003 and only its second in 55 games since 1978. Falk only threw for 286 yards, no TDs, and five interceptions for a QBR of 11. It is best he just forget this game. His Heisman chances are over.
NUMBER TWO
Clemson Stumbles!
Clemson lost in a thriller to the unranked Syracuse Orange by a score of 27-23.
What are the playoff implications of this? Almost none. Clemson will fall a few spots in the rankings, but will win out the rest of its schedule. It will win its Conference Championship game and make the playoffs. They will not be the top seed though.
NUMBER THREE
Michigan is Not Very Good!
Michigan escapes vs. Indiana in OT. Granted Indiana is a little better than in the past, but they are not a top tier team.
Michigan is a very young team and has been a battered program for years. They don’t have the depth to be good yet. It will be seen however if Harbaugh can recruit. Do HS Players really enjoy all his antics and sleepovers? We are guessing not.
