Terrell Owens played for the Chattanooga Mocs (Tennessee), while Randy Moss played for the Marshall Thundering Herd. Terrell Owens had 12 career receiving TDs in college. Randy Moss far outshone Terrell as he had 53 receiving TDs in college.

Randy Moss had a much more stellar career in college. However, Terrell Owens was a very talented athlete, in addition to football he also played basketball and ran track in college. Owens participated in the 1995 NCAA Basketball Tournament. Randy Moss only played football in college. They both went on to have Hall of Fame careers in the NFL. Terrell has attracted attention this week due to not being selected for the Pro Football Hall of Fame; his time will come for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but not the College Football Hall of Fame.
