Dan Quinn played defensive lineman for Salisbury University, a NCAA Division III school. Salisbury University is in Maryland, their teams are called the Seagulls. Dan Quinn started for four years in both football and track and field for the Seagulls. He went there from 1990 to 1993. He was captain of the football team and the track field team. Quinn was inducted in the Salisbury University athletics Hall of Fame in 2005.

Dan Quinn did not play in the NFL, but immediately went into coaching after he graduated college. Herre is a list of his coaching career:

Dan won Super Bowl XLVIII as the defensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks. Coach Dan Quinn’s team, the Atlanta Falcons, will be taking on the Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LI. The game is on February 5, 2017 and Dan will be facing six-time Super Bowl Champion Bill Belichick. Let’s hope for a good, close, and hard fought game.
