Hello Fans!
This site, NCAAF Playoffs, is for the fans of Division I college football. The initial and primary purpose of this site is to gather enough votes for us, THE FANS, to force the NCAA to give us, THE FANS, the playoff format we want.
The background to this is basic; there have been 144 seasons of NCAA college football with 353 champions. All of the other college sports and the lower division college football have playoff formats to determine the champions. For instance, the next lower division to FBS is NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) and they have a 24 team playoff. Academics have been an often cited reason for not going to a playoff format for Division 1. However, since 1978 the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) has had a playoff format yet a great number of these schools have much higher academic standards. They have the playoffs and academics does not suffer.
The NCAA Division One Football programs are a huge industry with revenues of over FIVE billion dollars. This industry has also for years profited greatly from the end of season Bowl System. This year there will be 35 bowl games in all, except for one, which is relevant to anything other than the NCAA football programs making money and the players having some fun, yet we, the fans, get ripped OFF!
It can’t possibly be that hard to have a 32 team playoff system; in a straight one-on-one 32 team playoff you play 31 games, all relevant. If anyone was worried about the four lost bowl games, just add an eight play in round. This is not difficult! In the scenario we've just described, this would be played over a six week period and the finalists would play an extra five games on the season, and so what? They are young and can do this.
Please vote for your ideal format:

Also, this is for the FANS, so please comment as you wish on this Blog.
Regards,
The NCAA F Playoff Team
