Spring is upon us and so is the ritual of the spring game in college football. Below is a list of the top five attended games of last season. Four of the five schools are in the SEC and one is in the Big Ten. It is not surprising that the SEC leads the list; they have the largest stadiums and lead in attendance year in and year out. What might be surprising is that schools like Ohio State, Michigan, and Notre Dame don’t even come close in regards to the number of attendees. We suppose some of that could be explained by colder weather up north, but not enough for the SEC to have such an overwhelming dominance. The SEC just takes their football more seriously.

We are going to go out on a “limb” here and say that Alabama will have the largest attendance. Which school do you think will have the most fans in the stands for their spring game? Please comment below.

Also, please send us your spring game pics: faniacs@collegefootballfaniacs.com.

We would love to see them!
