Myles Garrett is projected to be the number one pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Presumably, Cleveland will pick him, which will help shore up their defense significantly. Reggie White is one of the greatest defensive ends in football history. Reggie is both in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the College Football Hall of Fame. How does Myles compare to Reggie based on their college careers? We ran a quick comparison for you, please take a look:

Myles Garrett Reggie White
Height::6’ 4” 6’ 5”
Weight:272 300
Tackles: 141 293
Solo Tackles: 81 201

Myles played three years of college football, while Reggie played four. Reggie had 152 more tackles in college; he was clearly more dominant than Myles. Time will tell how Myles does in the NFL, but in College Reggie was the better player.

(Reggie White passed away on December 26, 2004. He was 43. The cause of the death was most likley heart disease.)
