Will Marcus Mariota be the second pick in the 2015 NFL Draft? The Tennessee Titans have the second pick of the draft this year. We say yes he will:

1. The Titans do not have a franchise quarterback.
2. Mariota is smart, physically gifted, and is not a delinquent.
3. The Titans cannot afford not to take him.



So what does “cannot afford not to take him” mean? It means you can’t pass up the potential. Franchise QBs rule the NFL. Almost impossible to win the Super Bowl without them. If there is even the remotest possibility that a draft pick can become a franchise QB you have to take him.
