Due to the size of Michigan Stadium and the passion of Michigan fans, Michigan traditionally wins the attendance record. However, due to a below average team and lackluster seasons under Brady Hoke Michigan did not win the attendance record last year. To make matters worse, archrival Ohio State won the attendance record. Michigan actually finished third behind Ohio State and Texas A&M.
On December 2nd Brady Hoke was fired as the Wolverines’ coach. On December 31 Jim Harbaugh was hired as Michigan’s head coach. Will this alone be enough to reinvigorate Michigan football? Can we expect them to win the attendance record? Or will it take actual performance on the field? What do you think? Please comment via the button below.
