Jaylon Smith - LB - Notre Dame - 2014 All-American

We like Notre Dame. Here are our top five reasons:
1. This is Brian Kelly’s sixth season he has turned Notre Dame around.
2. Their schedule is very favorable. The biggest challenge will be USC, but that game is certainly winnable. We think they are a lock to go undefeated and easily make the playoffs.
3. QB Golson is leaving. We think that is a good thing. Kelly should have some real good QB talent available.
4. Notre Dame returns eight starters on an offense that ranked 32nd. We think with a new QB and three new guys this offense could have enough.
5. Notre Dame is ranked 9th in some polls. That is high enough that everyone thinks they will be good.
So there you have it; that is our dark horse candidate. What do you think?
