Jeff Tedford played two years for Cerritos College and then he transferred to Fresno State for his final two years. He played from 1979 to 1982.
Jeff set many passing records while with the Fresno State Bulldogs. At the time, he set the record for most career passing yards at 4,872 yards and career touchdown passes with 35. He went on to play in the CFL for six seasons.
Jeff retired from playing football in 1988 and then started his coaching career immediately after. He coached California for 11 seasons and was the coach for the BC Lions (CFL) for one season. His college coaching record is 82-57 and his CFL coaching record is 7-11. He was hired as the head coach of the Fresno State Bulldogs on November 10, 2016. Let’s see how he does!
