Shawn Elliott played defensive end for the Appalachian State Mountaineers from 1992 to 1995.

Shawn joined the coaching staff of the Mountaineers after graduating from Appalachian State University and was part of the staff during the team’s three FCS championships. He remained with the Mountaineers until joined the South Carolina Gamecocks staff in 2010.

Shawn was interim head coach for the Gamecocks in 2015, where his team went 1-5. On December 8, 2016, he was named the head coach of the Georgia State Panthers. Let’s see how he does!
