Todd Gurley was drafted 10th in the 2015 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams. Todd is 6'1" and 222 lbs and played for the Georgia Bulldogs. Melvin Gordon was drafted 15th in the 2015 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers. Melvin is 6'1" and 215 lbs. Who was the better college player?

Todd Gurley played for the Georgia Bulldogs from 2012 to 2014. He elected to forgo his senior year and entered the 2015 NFL Draft. During his three years at Georgia he ran for 3,285 yards, which is 6.4 yards per carry average, and he scored 36 rushing touchdowns. He also had 615 receiving yards and six touchdown receptions.

Melvin Gordon played for the Wisconsin Badgers from 2011 to 2014. He saw limited playing time his freshman year. Over the course of his career he had 4,915 yard rushing for a 7.8 yards per carry average and 45 rushing touchdowns. He also had 228 receiving yards and four touchdown receptions. In 2015 Melvin led the NCAA in rushing with 2,587 yards, which is the second best ever. Melvin was 42 yards away from breaking the single season rushing record of 2,628 yards set by Barry Sanders in 1988.
