The BCS National Championship game was played 16 years in a row, pitting the #1 ranked BCS team vs. the #2 ranked BSC team. There was always some controversy around this, as polls decided who was #1 and #2; #3 and #4 never had a chance to prove it on the field.

There were some great Championship games and some not so great. Below are the highlights of the last eight BCS National Championship games.
