Where would you rather play college football - at the Shoe or the Big House?

Ohio Stadium, also known as the Horseshoe, the Shoe, and the House that Harley built, was completed in 1922 with a seating capacity of 66,210. Capacity has been added ever since and presently seats 104,851 spectators, although the largest crowd to watch a game there is 106,102. The open end of the stadium contributes to some unusual wind patterns when it is windy, whereas the closed end of the stadium can get deafeningly loud if you are the opposition. While the stadium, its boisterous fans, and the Ohio State Buckeyes make for an electrifying atmosphere, the Best Damn Band in the Land makes it close to unbearable for the opposition.

Michigan Stadium, which also goes by its nickname, the Big House, was built in 1927 with a seating capacity of 82,000. Capacity has been added ever since and presently seats 109,901 spectators, although the largest crowd to watch a game there is 115,109. It is an oval shape and is the third largest stadium in the world. While the stadium, its boisterous fans, and the Michigan Wolverines make for an electrifying atmosphere, once the band starts playing “The Victors” and the fans start singing along, it makes things close to unbearable for the opposition.

So there you have it. You are the top recruit in the country and have narrowed it down to Ohio State or Michigan; you want to go to the school with the best game day atmosphere and the rowdiest stadium. Which school do you choose?
