UPDATE: The Ohio State Buckeyes beat the USC Trojans 24-7 Friday night. USC still leads the series with 13 wins vs. Ohio State's 10 wins.

Date: 12/29/2017
The teams have played 23 times. USC has won 13, while Ohio State has won 9 and they share a tie. USC leads the series.

USC is on a seven-game winning streak vs. the Buckeyes (1975-2009). On December 29th the teams meet again in the GOODYEAR COTTON BOWL CLASSIC in AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX (8:30 PM - ESPN). USC is 11-2 and PAC-12 Champs, while Ohio State is 11-2 and Big Ten Champs.

Back in the day, this would have been the Rose Bowl Game and a huge deal. The Playoffs have diluted games like this. We believe the playoffs should include all conference champions and five team at-large bids for a 16-game playoff. Not a fan of committees picking Champions. NOT AT ALL!

Ohio State is favored by 7 ½. We think they will win, but will not cover the spread.
