Factoid 424 – The Faniacs’ top seven spring break destinations, and number seven is….
Date: 3/13/15

German Village, Columbus, Ohio

Our seventh ranked spring break destination is Columbus, Ohio. Columbus, Ohio for spring break? What? Are we drunk? OK, we did pull a Homer, but if budget is a concern and you aren’t in love with crowds, Columbus has plenty to see. Our top five things to see and/or do in Columbus:

  • 1. German Village
  • 2.The Ohio State University. (You can get a tour of the Woody Hayes athletic facilities and see all eight national championship trophies. Call ahead.)
  • 3. “Jack Hanna’s” Columbus Zoo
  • 4. World class cuisine and plenty of bars
  • 5. Mad River Mountain to ski, board, or tube, and it is still open in spring. (Check before you go though)
